NICOLE CLEMENS

After earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Painting & Drawing, Nicole's journey began as a self employed artist. First, with teaching painting at a public studio, all the while starting to learn the ropes of a "pop up shop" at festivals and art venues. After some time, the journey took them somewhere incredible: The Chicken Farm Art Center. A small town art commune, and as just one of the many artists on site, Nicole moved into a studio and began to open their own local business. Since the start of 2018 through the end of 2019, they were teaching students of all ages in the "studio" rooms for private lessons and public classes. They also were selling multiple handmade items out of the gallery & retail area, such as original paintings, art prints, handcrafted jewelry, dream catchers, and hand sewn goods.

The journey has taken Nicole farther west than ever before. Currently nestled at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, their work is transitioning to more accessible platforms. Where as before, you needed to be at a festival, or visiting the studio, now you can connect with them where ever you are on the globe!

You can catch Nicole in their studio at Half Crown Creative inside Bean Cycle Roasters in Fort Collins. Find their work for sell at The San Angelo Museum of Fine Art in the Gift Shop.
